Sabato Sagaria is a restaurateur and Master Sommelier. He most recently served as President of bartaco, growing the company from 13 to 22 restaurants nationwide before selling to private equity.
Prior, Sabato spent four years as the first ever Chief Restaurant Officer at Danny Meyer’s Union Square Hospitality Group, where he oversaw the opening of nine new concepts and operations of 17 restaurants including some of New York's most beloved restaurants such as Union Square Cafe, Maialino, and Gramercy Tavern.
Throughout his career, Sabato has contributed to the success of iconic properties including The Greenbrier Hotel, WV, The Inn at Little Washington, VA, and The Little Nell Hotel, CO.
When he is not cooking at home during quarantine, Sabato is most happy outside on a golf course, snowboard, or surfboard.
